Hey there. My name is Justin Henriksen. I’m a husband, dad, a creative, and designer.
Mostly I design for work, but occasionally play. I started a design company called Nouvo, and had the opportunity to work with some pretty outstanding clients, such as Bozell, First National Bank, JDRF, DataSync, and DocuTAP. I also co-founded Backcountry Tracks, a social hiking app geared for the novice and intermediate enthusiast.
In 2013, I joined the team at DocuTAP leading brand and product design. Together we created some awesome work that wasn’t only award winning, but also helped gain an immense amount of traction in the industry.
In my free time, I’m a hack furniture designer and maker — recently I’ve been on a mid-century modern kick.
I was born and raised in South Dakota. I moved away for a short time, but came back and met my wife, Katie. We have a son together, Miles who happens to be one of the funniest little dudes you’ll ever meet.
